    The Consolidated Procurement Code appears in Title 11, Chapter 35 of the South Carolina Code of Laws. The Code of Laws is made available on-line by the South Carolina General Assembly at the following address: http://www.scstatehouse.net/code/t11c035.htm.

    Procurements subject to the Procurement Code are also governed by procurement regulations promulgated by the South Carolina Budget and Control Board. These regulations are published in the South Carolina Code of Regulations and available on-line at the following address:
    http://www.scstatehouse.net/coderegs/c019.htm. Scroll down to Regulation 19.445.

    Since the above postings were last updated, the Consolidated Procurement Code has been amended by 2008 Act No.174, a copy of which is posted below. In addition, the Procurement Regulations have been amended effective May 23, 2008. A copy of the revisions are also posted below.

    CPO HEARING PAMPHLET: This brochure is intended to give the public a general outline of how the CPO's typically handle the administrative review of a protest. (The brochure does not address hearings regarding a contract controversy, but the hearings are - in large measure - similar.)The brochure is issued for informational purposes only. Nothing in the brochure shall be construed to bind the Chief Procurement Officers as to any practice described therein.

    Versions: This document is available in both MSWord and in Adobe Portable Document Format. The PDF avoids formatting differences between printers, but the MSWord is clearer.

    Printing Instructions: Print this document to 8 1/2" x 14" paper using "landscape" orientation. Preferably, print on both sides, flipping on the short edge.
